We rvers don't mean to stress you out...honest! This site lists all types of gifts for rv owners...certainly there are items to suit all tastes, personalities and budgets. We know it can be tricky to match lifestyle and personality...heck, we wouldn't want to have to buy gifts for ourselves!
But are you still struggling with what to get?
Here are things to keep in mind...
SIZE OF THE RV
We've recommended many items here, but rv sizes can vary tremendously! There are people fulltiming in an rv that is 40 feet long, and those who are in a tiny travel trailer. Space is limited in a luxury motorhome and even more so in a small one. Keep the recreational vehicle size in mind when purchasing a gift.
FULL TIME OR PART TIME RVERS?
For those who live in a normal house, yet travel around in an rv, you will have much more flexibility when buying an rv gift. It can be an rv gift, like a poster of their make of travel trailer, which can hang on the wall in their home or office. It gets trickier when their home is an rv. So take time to think about how much rving the gift recipient does.
WHEN NO GIFT SEEMS RIGHT
It is truly the thought that counts when giving gifts to anyone. Be sure to include a gift receipt if you just aren't sure your choice is practical. RV gifts can also be about "the road" instead of the camper. This means, if you aren't comfortable buying an actual rv product, that you can get creative with items they might like on the road (think new atlas, gasoline gift cards, etc.).
BE SURE YOU KNOW THEIR TYPE OF CAMPER
All rvs are not alike! If you don't know the difference between a travel trailer, fifth wheel, Class A or C motorhome or pop up camper, don't get too specific with your gift. These vehicles vary greatly! You could end up buying something only suitable for a motorhome, and they have a fifth wheel!
